For what Starmade had back when the GUI was made, it works quite well.
Now, with all these separate features and stuff? We desperately need an upgrade. And a reskin. The HUD is so 1990s :D

The Mass change is a formula adjustment (research, more man power). The Acceleration change is a numbers adjustment (Thruster efficiency over block count).

We already have the lag problems caused by hundreds of turrets. Making them a part of the parent entity would really go a long way to reducing entity clutter during fights and large social events.
Pirate stations are meant to be dangerous at the start.
That said, weapon ranges are completely out of whack right now. The multipliers imply a max of x2 sector size, but it's really much further.
