      *more efficient. Schema needed to unify the weapon and support systems. It didn't make much sense for weapons to use the new system and for the support beams to use the old.

      Excepting that the MASS OF THE OBJECT and the SIZE OF THE ENGINES decides it's acceleration. There are a ton of engineering problems associated with moving a free-floating body at high speed and changing that speed quickly.
