The Log.txt files are both identical and they are from a start of a game in 64bit java.
And they are not from a normal game termination (they end without the usual saving and closing of stuff)
There is a newer Driver Version for your i7 graphics available at intel i think. as long as it works...
That is weird! .. normally the move to 64bit should improve performance.
could you put graphcisinfo.txt and log.txt.0 from Starmade/logs and settings.cfg from starmade into a zip and add it here ?
I know that it works on Win10 ... the point is that Win10 is not yet driver supported or stable or finished.
To post an educated clue about a problem the OS has to be around a bit more i think.
And the socket thing sounds more like firewall or server side problem to me ... and i am only...
mehmet432 .. you are missing the point here. Schema will fix that problem i am sure. No one in the Tester team runs a system in a language setup that seems to be affected by this problem, so we didnt even know it does exist. Be patient. Right now he is doing the docking rework, thats a lot of...
" windows-x86 JRE " looks like you are using a 32bit Java Version to me!
Goto https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
and update both versions 32 and 64 bit manualy to 8u40 please
Try this link for now files.star-made.org/build/starmade-build_20150319_050107.zip
And you are mostlikely blocking some required ports/protocol thingies of which i do not know what exactly is required.
Please use upload file and add Settings.cfg (from Starmade folder) and Graphcisinfo.txt and the log.txt.x file from one of those failed starts (from Starmade/logs folder). You may have to rename the endings to .txt to upload those files.
We will take a look and may have a few suggestions then...
Get the 64bit JAva Version here -> https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Make sure 32bit and 64bit Versions are at the same update level.
If this is not solving the problem please add Settings.cfg from Starmade directory and Graphcisinfo.txt and the latest log.txt.0 file from...
No .. your problem sounds like a corrupted ship file of some sorts.
Messed up Meta data of the ship maybe.
Are you able to spawn in an older Version of that ship and continue from there?
If you build something bigger, always take blueprints from time to time.
If you have a 64bit OS (i wouldnt know why a new Windows 8 system would be 32 bit) , grab the 64bit Java Version here -> https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
then you should be able to set memory sizes as you see fit in the Launcher Options -> Memory settings
I am runnig out of ideas here.
That->

OK ... good now it is runing in a good place and in 64 bit!
I did ask around the parser fault suggest that something is wrong with the games config files.
try the following:
Delete the config folder in Starmade\date
Delete the customBlockConfig folder from Starmade
then start the launcher and...
there should be a new log in the c:\starmade\logs folder now , after you did start the game from there.
