      New Blocks and systems Suggestions

Weapons with 100% Push/Pull/Stop will do no damage of any kind. So... Missile/Pulse?

Sensors as an effect instead of a system

Sensors are a much more active system. They don't make sense as an effect, because they aren't passive. Additionally, most of this stuff is already somewhat in the game (being able to see enemy stats to a degree, scanning the sector you're in (and then some), seeing what ores are in asteroids...

      Regarding the faction base issue.

Nah, you'd basically have a list of ships designated "defenders," who would be removed from their original sector and quickly moved to any station that needs backup and is part of the warp gate network. We know the game already saves warp gate paths, so that part shouldn't be too hard. It also...

      Regarding the faction base issue.

I'd prefer if AI fleets from other stations would jump in to defend instead. Hell, they could even use warpgates to get to defensive locations faster.

Sensors as an effect instead of a system

I dislike this idea. The only part I like is the sensor probe, and that could also be accomplished by allowing AI (once we get fleets) to send their scan data back to you, which I'd like much more.

Where did all the playerbase and faction fun go?

No. This is really not the way to go about encouraging interaction.

      StarMade Development Direction

Loading multiple camera perspectives at once is extremely resource intensive.

      The Odium Pact

They're Russians from GenXNova. A lot of them don't speak English well, as far as I can see. They had signs in their HB in Russian and everything.

      In preparation for crew...

Jumpy astronauts was occasionally an issue with the ground battle portion of the NFD Triathlon. And I mean the laggy jumping, not the people bunny-hopping around. That was annoying too, though. I really wish we'd get a reduced astronaut jump height.

Transporters: no transport on same entity

Depending on if the server has "Drop items on death" enabled, you could be losing quite a lot of stuff. 1-3 grapplers, laser pistol, up to 4 torches, build inhibitor, multiple sniper rifles/rocket launchers, plus 10% of your credits. Boarding gear ain't cheap.

Transporters: no transport on same entity

You see no value in a tactic that gives the full resources that went into building someone's ship instead of blowing up 40-50% of it first? That allows you to take an enemy's blueprint, examine it, and learn how to counter them better? HAH. Now, I can't speak for most boarders, but... my...

Transporters: no transport on same entity

You know what? No, it doesn't. It just makes it a pain in the ass and generally a waste of time, like every other overpowered boarding measure. I'm just going to keep doing the same thing I always do when I encounter that sort of thing. At least those take a little bit of time to set up, though...

Transporters: no transport on same entity

One or the other. Once again, let me repeat- I think transporters should be allowed on stations. I DON'T think they should be allowed multiple times on ships. Also...

Transporters: no transport on same entity

The pro-transporter argument boils down to "I think boarding is griefing instead of a legitimate and extremely difficult to accomplish strategy."

Transporters: no transport on same entity

Oh my god. Are you seriously trying to compare torching through a few area triggers to carving a tunnel all the way through the enemy ship?

Transporters: no transport on same entity

Fun fact- you can disable area trigger traps with your torch. :^)

Transporters: no transport on same entity

I find it extremely unlikely that the game will remain in a state where you can simply avoid boarders by filling your hallway with doors, or weapons, or turrets, unless you like trapping and killing your own crew.

Transporters: no transport on same entity

Nice question dodging. Grav tubes are a lot easier to get around than teleporters if you know what you're doing.

Transporters: no transport on same entity

If you hate boarding parties, don't play on a PvP server. Seriously. It's a fair mechanic- if I can manage to take out your ship with the lowest DPS weapon in the game while using the lowest health of any combat-oriented object in the game, I DESERVE your ship. The only griefing in PvP is when...

      The EE2 Project

Faction upkeep ticks are much longer. If you woke up to discover your enemy had blown up a lot of your territory, well... not only would you have time to reclaim some of it, you'd also be able to retaliate.
