      Salvage Beams As Weapons

And what exactly is unbalanced about it just as salvage beams? And I'd think balancing 1 weapon instead of 4 weapons would be easier.

StarMade v0.19485 Internationalization Support & Bugfixes

I think this actually got fixed. This still happens. We just never run into those fleets anymore because of jump drives.

      Salvage Beams As Weapons

Again, I must ask- how will it be any more abusable and capable of making people ragequit the game than normal weapons? Normal weapons have 10 DPS/block and are more effective at what they do. Any salvage "troll cannon" will easily get wiped out by normal weapons, because normal weapons are...

      The EE2 Project

Biodomes on the spawn station! Glass issues are preventing vegetation from showing up from this angle and distance.

      Salvage Beams As Weapons

Again- please explain how this is more effective than standard weapons. It holds a very niche role and would never be used outside of pirating, or perhaps recovering your own heavily damaged (but not yet overheating) drones. Regular weapons and salvage beams both have the 10% power consumption...

      Salvage Beams As Weapons

What advantage does this hold over normal weapons, besides getting what you break? Normal weapons do 10 DPS per block, and are even more effective when paired with block breaking effects like pierce, punch, or explosive.

      Salvage Beams As Weapons

What kind of moron is going to use a significantly weaker weapon that does no damage to shields when there are better weapons available? Here's an idea- Salvage beams, in the new cargo system, would have the unique ability of being able to salvage blocks directly from enemy cargo space, even if...

Question: Why are heatseekers still the way they are?

To an extent. It's pretty much impossible to take down the absurd amount of missiles some people use.

THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Zackey, is a little joke faction really going to harm the community? Personally, if I came into a community and saw that joking around like this was allowed, I'd probably stick around a lot longer than if the moderation team had a stick up their ass and killed this stuff on sight.

StarSide Blood and Steel: Season 2

Press the gear, view full resolution. Each armor tier weighs about 100 mass more than the one beneath it.

StarSide Blood and Steel: Season 2

A quick comparison of all the armor types on a basic small ship. Heavier armor types are very useful in the new HP system, but they aren't useful enough to sacrifice over 200 mass that could have been 2000 weapon blocks instead when there's a mass limit in place.

StarSide Blood and Steel: Season 2

Standard armor weighs 3 times as much as basic, and advanced weighs 5 times as much. No one smart would use standard or advanced in this when it's using mass.

      StarMade News - November 9th 2015

Oh no! The days of single players being able to be a dominating force on a server might be coming to an end? No, this is horrible! How dare the devs make the multiplayer game have actual depth instead of "everyone stock up on 2 billion of everything in their homebase!" I'd agree with you in...

      StarMade News - November 9th 2015

You do realize we're getting AI fleets, right? Order a couple corvettes and a half dozen fighters to defend you. And I doubt people will just be wildly shooting at cargo ships, because then that cargo would be destroyed. My freighters are going to be equipped with a strong jump drive...

      New item: "Tether"

I thought this was a suggestion for something similar to the grapple beam but for ships. I'm somewhat disappointed. This would still be very cool, though, and I wouldn't have to build stupid reroutes of logic pipes so that they don't cut through my corridor or something.
