If you log out on a planet's surface, on respawn, you will spawn inside the planet. If you touch no keys, the game is frozen and you can't move. If you press the up arrow key as instructed, most of the time nothing happens, you stay spawned in the planet, you can't move and the game freezes...
If you have modules in your ships/bases, what is the least IQ-test method of switching factions without being locked out of your own ships afterwards? Delete all the faction blocks, switch factions, then put the faction blocks back?
Thanks
Being able to defend against pirates and other players would be nice if the weapons worked properly. Good thing we can use a game pad now instead of in-game weapons.
I guess using gamepads in a PC game is somehow important. Too bad there weren\'t keyboards or something . .
Anyway, the error is still present, and pretty much constant, but restarting the client aand the server sometimes fixes it. No idea or information why, or if it is something else that...
There is no \"cache\" in the appdata .starmade folder. The only contents are a cred file and a properties file that records memory settings.
What will getting a new launcher change when it says mine is up to date with the current version already and the game engine runs out of the JAR, not the...
Apparently, chain docking of turrets is still bugged/not implemented, but you can still add a turret to a turret by making a small, slab ship that docks to the turret (using a docking module NOT a turret module), and the slab ship has a turret.
Fixed frame rate and vsync are both off, and the video drivers are set to \"Use application settings\" (I rarely feel the need to over ride game settings except for gamma).
Anyway, not a big deal or a game breaker for me, but if the frame rate was normally up in the hundreds, and it\'s locked...
6. Dropping a quantity of blocks (255 for example) in the cubatom screen uses the full number of blocks, even if the two cubatom products are at or near 255. The amount of blocks split should top off the 255 stacks, and then use no more.
7. When refining cubatoms, when the product cubatom...
OS is Win 7
Doesn't happen all the time, but more than half the time. Open the cubatom menu, drop a stack of blocks onto the cubatom screen, type the quantity to split, and the red box comes up as if you're trying to sell items at a shop. Client and server restarts sometimes fix it, and...
Also, the monitors are at 75hz for refresh, so definitely not tied to the monitor refresh rate.
Also, why put a setting in that limits refresh rate in the first place? To what end?
Thanks for the replies.
In the last couple days, my framerate has been locked at 60 fps, even though the option isn't checked, and never has been. Normally it would be up around 300 or 400fps, but it stays at 60 fps regardless of what is on the screen.
I could see how possibly, maybe, it MIGHT be a performance...
In Win 7 64bit, just since Friday, the crosshairs no longer lines up in the middle of the aiming circle. The picture shows where the crosshairs auto-centre. Also, when shooting targets/pirates, while the target is physically in the middle of the aiming circle, the target's ID diamond is...
I have had the same issue with AMCs for the last two days, but only with new builds. The AMCs switch what the current block is on their own (salvage beams too sometimes), they fire in directions other than straight ahead (90 degrees straight down in my case) and their point of aim no longer...
Was there a hot fix of some kind? Another player on our server has the same problem. AMCs on his ship worlked fine, but today, the most recently made ships (no older than yesterday) have the firing bug where the AMCs fire straight down.
On top of that, the aiming reticle and the point where...
Right now, the upper limit of gameplay is based completely on computer hardware. That\'s a fail. That immediately puts CUSTOMERS that don\'t have the latest and greatest at the bottom of the heap. People don\'t play games where they feel they have no chance of \"winning\", especially the...
It\'s a cool little system, but it definitely needs some explanation. It really isn\'t that difficult to understand once you\'ve played around with it, it\'s just graphically and informationally intensive at first glance, no explanation, no mouse-overs - nothing, so the immmediate reaction is...
