I have had my own idea to this: Fluid Armour.
Your armor takes all damage and no shields, but fluids will flow to the damage and replace missing armor blocks after a delay.
Does not work for systems.
Details:
Any destroyed hull block would be listed in teh todo-list and sorted 5 seconds after...
How many ressources you gathered from where (loot, mining, deconstructing abandoned)
How much damage you dealt/received and from which source (similar to how StarConflict does it)
How much you own (credits, blocks in factioned ships, etc)

We need a database extension for display blocks because they are bugged when updated by logic and getting reloaded without manually being saved.

I don't like that a chamber which uses 5% RC is as big as a chamber which uses 50% RC. maybe that gets changed some day too?

I agree, but you missed one point: Localized shields.
The 300 should require more shield groups - I guess it was meant to be that way.
That makes it essentially 2-4 ships.
I think you shouldn't be able to spot a cloaked ship.
Instead you should be able to spot the trail it left with thrusters.
Other games have a target-leading marker. you only miss when the ship changes movement direction.
Such a marker which is extrapolated from trails could be replacing the...
I liked originally that you don't need these 2 blocks for small craft.
But now you have a conduit as computer and ftl-chamber as FTL-blocks.
Perhaps you can set the default warp distance to 0 :D
Yes, Textures are good. 3D is good.
Reactors are something I would have implemented 3 years ago (via adjacent groups of any blocks and scriptable behaviour)
