      When you save it only saves the entity you are in and anything docked to it. So if you save in the turret base you'll save the barrel if it has one but not the station or ship it is docked to, or if you save the barrel it won't save the base or anything the barrel it docked to.

      I'd have the AI Module there for when you don't have spare players on hand or crew later down the road but as for player used turrets in general. I'd just leave a nice shaft or hallway into the barrel somehow.

      Yep that's an interesting question, maybe if we can let our cargobays have endless opening into space it wouldn't matter but that'd end up leaving a huge slow moving and turning target to shoot at.

      Well that was an interesting match I was in. I think bigger ships than a certain mass need to draw spawns of the faction they are attacking when on their size of the map. Other than that it was fun. :)

      How to build ships in generall? building techniques.

      In my case I just string some rods, circles, and a few other basic shapes together to make a ship. Currently working on one of many small starter ships for my faction. Needless to say it consists on a single rod section and a ring shaped turret. :)

      Here's another one that seems to be semi broken right now on my end. /initiate_wave 0 1 -1, the first parameter is wave level, the second is time before it shows up (in seconds), the third is the faction it is being spawned for. I'm sure there's a way to rig this to get a working spawning...

      There are people like me that will find a way to overpower those exploiting crew. :P In any event as long as it doesn't become something we need to maintain our edge over others I'll be good to go. There should be as many pros to using crew as there are to not using crew if you want to balance...
