on what server than is this happening ?
do other players also have that problem on there?
did you try to delete client cache before connecting to fix it ? (from the toold&mods option on main menu)
hmmm ... weird
open the settings.cfg file with notepad and change the following line accordingly
PLAY_INTRO = false //Play Intro
then try again and see if it gets further in the logfile (or maybe starts the game)
The logic has to be fully loaded efore the rails are operational again ... at least i think that was one of the fixes.
(otherwise stuff did unexpected things when it wasnt fully loaded)
did you wait for some time for it to start running ?
Arsonic99
That looks slighlty weird in the logfile

did you lately change or update the NV GPU drivers ?
if so...
it is logged as being reopened because of some changes to the phabricator bug tracker
it was originaly about another issue and got reopened in august with a changed description
please add a logstarmde.0.log file from the logs folder from one of those crashes here.
just drag and drop them in
the turret system sounds like a sector crossing problem. make sure your station that is building / docking the ships is in the sectors center.
hmmm ... ok .. never ever had a corrupt universe. but maybe i do not use them in testing long enough for them to break.
did you try to force overwrite and updatethe game (never downgrade .. starmade isnt supposed to work then)
i would suggest you do remove the catalog.cat file from that universe and try to start it again
make sure you do have enough disk space. probably got corrupted due to a crash or went wrong file handly otherwise.

Nomoturtle .. if there is one then it doenst belong there (ignore it) or you did install the game to the same folder as the launcher at some point.
To check from where the launcher is starting the game look here:
Getting confused here
this is what the log claims the mac is running (NV GT320M)
but you do think it has a AMD GPU
running the GPU with the wrong drivers maybe ?
and it is as far as i can see a problem with the Video playback (it cant identify the video properly)
⚓ T1525 Starmade will not run on mac
should be this.
looks like a missing library or something like that. no clue about Mac ... except they do look nice and are extra pricey.
if there are no neighbours or such using wireless systems than you do not have to channel any channel (because there wouldnt be any benefit from using anotherone)
you could try to see if you can use a cable to connect to the router if it is again not working
just to make sure it really is the...
that might be the problem then.
could be that other routers in the area do interfere or overlap and cause problems ?
are you able to change channels on the router (to avoid nearby other ones)
or switch to 5ghz band maybe ?
no clue what a "stat lite internet" is :/
i was talking about your connection to your router (or uplink what ever box) that connects you to your ISP (internet service provider).
is that a hardwired cable or wireless . a wireless connection even so browsing and stuff works might time out and...
usefull in those cases are generally the logstarmade.0.log files from the starmades log folder.
i do assume the playback of the intro video fails (there is a report for that on MAC, no clue what causes it)
open the settings.cfg with an editor/notepad and change the setting to false
PLAY_INTRO =...
sounds more like a serious PC problem in general to me, than a starmade problem in particular.
other wise use the new launcher download from the page and not Steam (installes the same game anyways)
place it in a non protected area (usually a folder in the root of a harddrive) and install to...
