I think that the range should be based on the percentage of jump drive modules on the ship.

Amazing! I once built an RSI Aurora from the same game. It didn't turn out very accurate due to it's small size, sadly, and the stats are pretty bad, too. I'll probably try it again sometime not soon.

EDIT Nevermind, he finshed the thread :p Very nice, I'd love to be able to have a sort of an autopilot system in my ships. I need to also chack if you can activate jumpdrive with logic.
Recommended ship type: -
Objective: Become a crew member of some ship carrying some bad guy, assasinate him, and escape before somebody notices with an escape pod/docked fighter/through the airlock.
Reward: Depending on difficulty
I'm just saying it's a better idea to have a seperate thread explaining the idea in more detail with the poll. The idea seems quite interesting to be honest.
