Hi, this can happen, when the port 4242 is already taken by another program. I think you can change the port in the Starter.

Also, if you have an Intel graphics card, be sure to have the latest driver, as the old drivers of Intel have some ugly bugs.

I would recoomend http://www.fraps.com/ for windows. its a very lightweight program with a free version (i have bought the licence myself)
