All I know is that win or loose, several of these stations will be added to my station spawn folders when that becomes an option.

I have to agree. This station I think I would put in another category... I think this wants to be a "welcome station". This is the friendliest looking station I've seen yet. I would let this station spawn just once, but put it as the default station at the default spawn point.

Being the designer of a default station would be cool.... But really, I hope that server admins get a way to modify or replace those default designs on a per-server basis. If I were to run a Starfleet themed server, I can give the pirates Klingon ships... why not Klingon themed stations?
Calbiri : May I have a rules judgement on "simple logic"? I was just re-reading the entrance guidelines and I begin to worry that my plex-lifter door logic is disqualifyingly complex. (it's just a momentary switch, but still...)

I'd like to see this as a random encounter variable... Pirates should prefer Isanth-sized ships for your average raid... they are cheap and expendable. Every so often, they will come at you in something bigger. And very rarely will they come at you in a dreadnaught.

You have three dimensions to work with , why not add some upper and lower levels? It adds interest to the design.
You seem (just from this one picture) to have a random arrangement of hangars connected by an random network...
Or reduce the size of your images. StarMadeDock can't generally cope with a full-scale screen cap. I use "Irfanview" to batch-rescale my screen captures. (800x600 works)
