      Minimum weapon damage

      I have yet to see such a scenario, but if I try to imagine a fight between a capital ship and a swarm of fighters of a combined mass equal to the capital ship, I'm very certain the fighters have a very realistic chance of winning this battle. I'm against buffing weapons for smaller ships.

      Absolutely. The size of these templates is however limited. You can set the limit for your own singleplayer game, but on a multiplayer server, it might not be the same. But you could divide the copy&paste job into multiple templates.

      Hmm. I'd rather have an option to hide certain blocks in buildmode, so a new player can download a blueprint from the content section and learn from there. In game, on a PVP server, it might make it easy to scout your opponents ships out with a permacloaker. So I would vote for armor/hull blocks...

      I agree with the general vibe in this thread, but wanted to give some examples: I'm currently building a medium sized ship to go around, explore, prospect for asteroids and the like. It should be able to handle everything Isanth-sized and smaller. Thats why I'm going for a lot of shield...

      I like power caps giving that much power, and power generation being relatively weak. It means people have to care about their energy consumption and might not sustain the full range of their systems for the fight, and rather have to manage their energy reserves. I totally agree with you though...

      Seems to me like B built a bad ship. Shouldn't the player building the better ship win? If D has bad reaction time, then he is probably f'ed because there will be Cannon/Cannon/Stop effect all over him. Except the C guys built a shitty fleet. I wish there was a variable speed and not a hard...

      I feel like we should have a sticky regarding asteroids/economy in general. We have a thread like this one every week, with the same questions getting asked and mostly not answered, and the answer to most of these questions is "It's an alpha" anyways.

      This can also horribly backfire: there was a similar vote on Dota 2 content. The players could vote on a hero which would get remodelled. But instead of voting for hero models which actually looked bad, people apparently just voted for a hero they thought was cool, or maybe their favourite hero...
