It looks like Electron isn't loading properly; I have no idea why. (Electron is a version of AtomShell, which is a platform for standalone webapps. It starts Chromium (a standalone version of Chrome), loads its own libraries/etc, and then loads the target javascript application, in this case...

Very odd. I have two theories: There is an error/exception occurring that the logger does not catch. This is the most likely cause. Electron (the chromium platform the launcher runs on top of) crashed. I cannot catch this, and when it occurs it leaves up to three starmade-launcher.exe...

I wholeheartedly agree! Using %appdata% for an install location seems quite silly. I forget which version it was in (Edit: v2.0.6), but I've changed the default install path to ./StarMade (with . being the launcher directory). I've also moved the cache to within the launcher directory, making...

I'm guessing this is related to a memory leak within the latest game version, which should be fixed in subsequent hotfixes, or the next release. You could verify it's memory-related by watching the process's memory usage. (Additionally, changing the "Show Info" option in-game to "Some Info"...

All of the support in this thread makes me quite happy ^^ That said, how much memory are you allowing to the game to use? (The memory settings button is located to the immediate left of the [LAUNCH] button within the beta launcher)

Several good points, and lots of detail. Many thanks! Increasing the font size will be quite difficult to do, so it will have to wait until a future release. I tend to use 8-10px font sizes in my editor, with only rare forays past that. Thanks for pointing out something I wouldn't have...

Noted. The cause is that the slider's min value is the next power of two up from (initial+early), meaning 4096 in your case. Expected behavior would be using this value as a non-power-of-two lower bound. I will add it in. Update: Added.
