I agree with op that search needs improvement. My suggestion though would be; dump all current forums and CC to an archive like we have for the old site and start fresh with only relevant information and CC2.0 with better search functions. Replace thumbnails with better preview pictures too.

Perhaps instead of just moving the cursor on the hotbar the number buttons could activate the corresponding function as well when pressed?

This was interesting enough to start up the game again. Then it null pointered less then 2 minutes in. Good to see everything is still working the same.

It seems a weak argument to counter loose facts with pure supposition. I'm no expert but I think increasing your attackable profile and distributing stabilizers such that they are less efficient to armor is the reason that dispersed stabilizers are by default less optimal than a doomstick...

It bothers me that the 'brake' function does not appear to use full thrust. Mainly because it implies in-universe technical stupidity like having a navigational mini-map with no graduations related to defined cardinal directions.
