      I agree with all of this. Piloting should only help with removing the turn rate debuff. I am more worried about the non flying aspects. As it stands, i hardly ever leave my ship, and once they allow flagships to have factories, i do not think i will ever leave it.

      The mod would only be an issue if it was installed server side. Though i am not that familiar with multiplayer. The game appears to be ready for multiple modes. I want the rpg stuff in the single player modes, as there is not too much to do single player, besides design ships.

      Man, I am so glad i bought this game on steam at the low price of 10 bucks. It has an absurd amount of depth for just an early alpha. I do hope schema is able to implement everything. Though with the size and and health of this community, i think they will.

      I would not mind if they were astronaut specific. I think the astronauts need more work honestly. I want to see better weapons, and i would love to see a means to launch "boarding torpedoes" at other ships to have boarding actions. Though internal defense turrets would put a stop to that real fast.

      One thing, is to borrow from startrek tng times arrow, and have "cellular fossils" that are only found on say planet 8,8,5. that would narrow things down, but not too much.

      Minecraft hits a large audience, but it also has some disturbing elements. Perhaps have a derelict where everyone caught a zombie virus, or a dreaded ghost ship like the event horizon with its own version of herobrine.

      the problem with outrunning them, is you have to know you have been targeted first. this is where the problems are coming from. a nav marker + missile lock alarm would help things a lot.

      One thing that i recommend to all new players, is to download the professional built ships, admin load them, and look at how they are made. fly them out, and destroy a pirate station or two. This will not only teach you how ships work, but give you a better understanding for who the big ones...

      i think multiple starts would be better. Like have an alternative one where we start on a planet, in an escape pod, and work from there. The problem though, is that once mobs are introduced, planets may not be safe....

      I am not a fan of fuel sources. especially since flag ships will have factories in the future. So the whole resupply thing gets mooted right there. Than there is all the effort that goes into building the invasion fleets. Those ships are like 6 hours of resource gathering, so a lot is lost...

      I disagree. in the current setup, we always spawn in 2,2,2 and there is a shop there. Perhaps have each option affect the seed, so that the new spawns are more friendly with the generation.
