      I can imagine going into a fight players will have "Strap on Weapon pods" or "One-shot Salvos" which are ejected after use. Thus for lugging around a bit extra mass they can bring significantly more firepower to bear in the intial stages of the fight for no penatly after they have been ejected.

      I agree, if the chamber system could be tweaked, stabalizor & intergrity mechanics re-done it could mostly be allright. (For the love of Schema, devs please re-consider making Jump Drives a physical system again :,( Shoving everything into the reactor does not work well with me personaly at all).

      Tbh all these extra additions are just trying to patch up a broken system. They don't prevent long ships and add nothing to gameplay except some ugly tubes that kill your power if they get hit.
