I've had it happen before with a different developer (Moving to steam and reditt forums), so hopefully they aren't scared away.
As long as they actualy post the News Update here like they have for every other update there's hope XD
Thats actualy quite a good point.
While I absolutly hate and want to murder... "despise" the intergity mechanic, this certiantly could make it a lot more bearable.
(On the condition they removed the purple Dong of course)
This could also be a great way to Schema to encourage interiors...
If they just reworked the Purpule Dong, Structual Integrity and Stabilizors the game would be in a much better place imo.
Personaly I'd be fine with it then. Maybe not thrilled, but itd be usable.
If there are no further changes the update is simply far too harmful to how I like to play and...
I like this.
Essentially a Treasure hunt,
A player may defeat a pirate and find e.g "Raptor Blueprint 1/4"
Vist a planet; defeat some more pirates and then you can combine the "Raptor Blueprint" peices into a whole blueprint that can be used any number of times.
It would take less time to implement and learn this system than it would go try and learn Power 2.0 lol XD
The future updates suggested did sound quite good, here's hoping they can get the Train back on track after bowling through the City Center.
Previously your Jump Charge was dependent on the proportion of JDs vs total mass (I think), thus you could have whatever charge speed desired as long ad you had the energy and could dedicate (x%) of your ship to it.
Now you are either stuck with a very weak Jumpdrive, or you have to spend your...
Solid concept, thank you for sharing.
Just a few Qs :
What is mean by overlapping?
I would have thought you wouldn't want Dimension boxes overlapping otherwise multiple reactors will be far more effecint than a large singular one.
From what I understand, you are using ship "Volume" to generate...
It has been posted everywhere but here, the one place where players have access the the disagree button (EDIT: *had*)
I wonder if the two are related?
Is there a reason for this schema Criss ?
Updates have always been posted since the dawn of time.
It makes me very to see this degradation in...
I agree.
Why on earth they want to stuff everything into the reactor is beyond me.
Especially making quality of life improvements dependent on it is ridiculous imo.
How is this Integrity feature at all enjoyable???
Yes, spaghetti was a problem in theory, but since when he's anyone actually encountered one? Not in my 5 years of playing.
It simply was not worth the crushing blow you dealt to creativity and player enjoyment.
It is not intuative to newer...
Apparently they did it for "simplicity" despite you only needing to place down 2 blocks -_-
If anything it's less intuative or fun to deal with and just plain pisses me off as a mechanic lol.
I think one of the main issues is the pushback from the devs.
When these changes were suggested, their instant reaction was "That will destroy balance", "They are necessary", despite tests such as these showing that a few tweaks can provide a far more enjoyable and possibly balanced experiance.
Quite true, we wouldn't complain, just go spend our time elsewhere doing something more enjoyable.
I'm sure many players have dropped games they used to enjoy, I've certiantly left some after 1k+ hours.
All the devs need to do is release a short statement to calm people's fears imo.
I have seen some bashing of the devs, but on the whole it has been criticism of development builds alongside suggestions for less painful alternatives.
None of this has been recognized by the devs, poor Chris...
