I think allowing people to set up a logic circuit as an on/off button would suffice instead of a new block. Something like this could be useful for doing things like turning off weapons or other systems that you don't currently need.

Thing is, it all depends on what is keeping the beams coherent. The 'misting' effect is expected since energy, particles and so on would simply bleed off the beam... I think it looks fantastic, the light show only needs a few explosions to make it even better. Also...

Uhm, so? The game is still playable and enjoyable. At least for me and others. Sure, not everyone is happy with its current state, or are impatient with the pace of development. Schema cannot, and shouldn't even attempt to, please everyone, all of the time. I'd rather they take their time...
