      WoW! Vaygr Finally Dead! :D

So, 3 out of 5 OP factions were doing it. One got booted (Atlas if I remember, but they were booted not for exploiting, but for Blackhawk being impossible to work with) the other 2 left the game. Supposedly. CR half left for EVE, half splintered off because they(we) got fed up with BH's BS and...

      WoW! Vaygr Finally Dead! :D

Ah, another thread that involves Vaygr yet never was started by Vaygr, yet claims that Vaygr made them start it to shitpost Vaygr. The exact kinda stuff I hated being put through when I was with the Odium Pact. Looks like nowadays Vaygr's bad rep is fuelled more by the people who inflate it or...

Minimade baby-sized server [WILL CLOSE ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2017]

Thing is, with just one buddy even if both of you are offline, you're already above water. Also, the flat cost had been already reduced to 20 and you get 19 per offline active member.

The Sentinel Alliance's Public Server - All Welcome

Personally, I'd like to inquire how high that "very high" mass cap would be. I know a lot of people can't exist without their several million block super-capitals, neither can they forego the "if it doesn't work, just add more blocks" build philosophy. For that reason, implementing any kind of...

Minimade baby-sized server [WILL CLOSE ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2017]

I'm deeply saddened by the fact that after so much initial interest, the server's empty. Looks like people can't forego their "Mine's bigger" mentality after all and still believe "In titans we trust" :(

      DOCKED HULL MUST BE FIXED.

Dear Lancake , if you could confirm this yourself. Docked hulls are a menace. A ship with a docked hull will almost always win against a ship of the same mass without one. I did a little experiment myself, making a version of one of my older ships that I basicly hollowed out, used the...

D4GR-A2 Dagger Assault Corvette - A3 variant, new chain drive.

The previous chain drive had a tendency to drop the rail docks, so I switched it to RODLON 'S chaindrive model instead.

      EMP un-jamming ships

AI using guided missiles still gets instalock on jammed entities. Also, ANY hit taken should decloak. Unjam should only happen by scannerpulse or taking hull/system damage, tho I guess EMP should/could be a good tool for that too. But I don't want Lecic to get more nerdgasms with EMP boats :P

      EMP un-jamming ships

This has been around forever, in fact PvPers built ships around it to use stop effect swarmers, turrets and other shenanigans to slow down and un-jam enemies. Some of them are probably really angry at me for blowing the whistle on this.

      EMP un-jamming ships

Stop, push and pull also does it. Apparently, anything that affects your ship bypassing the shields will decloak and de-jam.

Shield supply beam revamp - support ship viability

Since the current state of the game doesn't make it possible to replenish lost armor hp or lost blocks in the field, and even the shipyard's repair function works in a way that it completely reconstructs the ship from scratch, without a TON of new code written to enable field repairs by...

Shield supply beam revamp - support ship viability

From a certain PoV I can understand where Lecic is coming from. A support ship, in order to be viable, would have to dedicate most of its system space to the support tools especially with how the bonuses on the effects would work. Especially if it also wanted to be able to actually recharge...

What kind of Chambers to you want?

Yea except due to dimensions and the required amounts of power to actually make it work, that 2km wide flying warpgate would move and turn like a 2km ship. F***ing slowly. I have to agree tho, warp gates on ships are not a good idea, and area of effect boosts are way too much on the OP side as...

Shield supply beam revamp - support ship viability

Since docked power/shield supply modules are out of the question, these systems are out of use completely. Why not revamp them to require only power to operate? That'd open up some options for players to fly support ships in battles. To make it more interesting, I'd also allow effect systems to...

What kind of Chambers to you want?

Having your shield at max recharge in combat is huge. There is no way you can get away with it as a T2. If your ship's recharge rate is low, you simply won't use that chamber because it wouldn't matter much. Same goes for autocharge. It's huge. Not having to hold that mouse button gives you...

What kind of Chambers to you want?

Yea, dropping shields would be a high enough penalty, even if the recharge would start at the out-of-combat rate the moment the cloak is dropped. It would essentially kill cloaking warships as you can't just rely on your armor tank especially since the moment you get shot, even if you WOULD have...

What kind of Chambers to you want?

The main downside would be that it should scale to consume ALL CPU points. No other chamber could function while the cloak is on. Alternatively, it could also drop your shields, which would be a VERY strong downside. (I think it worked similarly in Star Trek where you had to wait to raise...

      StarMade - Devblog May 22nd 2017

The first thing everyone does in Modded Minecraft power grids is devise an infinite loop scenario or grind to solar panels and wind turbines to get sustainable automated power that doesn't need manual maintenance. The first thing everyone does in Empyrion is put a hydrogen generator down and an...

      StarMade - Devblog May 22nd 2017

No. Freaking. Fuel. Just don't. Especially not these silly things. Fossil fuel, lol. You want to run a futuristic starship or space station on what, coal? This topic has been discussed a couple times and the devs said no, and I agree with them. A fuel system only adds more annoyance, not gameplay.
