Honestly I think the devs F'd up the new power system far more than they'll ever admit. I always assumed salvagers were set low enough to make it so we could make large arrays on less power than the main weapons.
Isn't there a DPS (Damage Per Shot/Tick) chart for all weapon combos floating around? Been wondering what the min value for each weapon combo is to break a fully protected armor block?
Like others have said you're building way too big. Starmade tends to give up around the 1km - 5km range, especially if you have small sectors that can't fit the whole ship in them. Also if building that big movement without lag nova bombing a server is highly unlikely. Scale down the ship you...
Have this same problem and it is infuriating. It's happening to mining fleets as well. They'll refuse to do anything until the sector unloads and reloads.

I'm looking at this new system and scratching my head as to how it's better. O_o The main issue with refitting ships is not the amount of blocks we have or where they are placed, or the fact the ship's remaining space is totally filled, it's the lack of the right tools to refit a ship or build...
hmm maybe make it so there's only two NPC Factions, one for each team? Than just eliminate the rest of them and limit them to 1 system on each side of the game map's system. :)
I'm sure half of us locked in a room for about 10min can come up with a way to make this new power system work properly but it doesn't help if we're being semi ignored. O_o
Why not pull something similar with stabilizers that we did with the old power system needing to go for multiple axis'? Say make having stabilizers on one axis the option not the rule and so that the 0% range is much closer to the reactor to allow for brute forcing 100% stable power? Also...
So much this right here. Move the min end not the whole thing. This way there's a larger range of areas we can put stabilizers instead of a very narrow range.
Ouch. I'm going to have to take a look at my faction's smaller miners to see if there's a way to get them up to speed without changing their size any. >.>
Ya the AI is totally broken. It functions off the old systems just fine because it seems to take them into account but with the new system it might be wanting to check for power capacity and since it can't fine it the AI doesn't know how much power it has to make use of.
