      For anything other than the Salvager + Cannon combo you'll need to slow the rotation on the arm down some more and speed up your clock. :)

      Ya that'd help. Also what'd help is making it so we can set how far up the docking tree for stations and ships active reactors and active chambers are allowed. :) Say by default on Stations it'd be 1 up from the base entity on reactors but 0 up from it on chambers, while on ships it'd be 0 on both.

      And Shield Bubbles coming into existence down the road was the reason I planned ahead with my stations. The Power 2.0 is far more of an issue than Shield Bubbles ever well be. Just make sure to have your stations setup to have multiple generator points for shields.

      I'd say the specialization is a tad too restrictive. Currently we're stuck in a Old system not restrictive enough and the New system being too restrictive so lets try somewhere in-between. Currently you can only max out one chamber tree per reactor so lets make it something like 1.5 to 2.5...

      Ya one thing people keep overlooking is the new system has drastically different stats so the new number and old numbers aren't going to match. That said it's still a pretty bad idea to force open space using it. Chambers seem like what most people are talking about for that.

      hmm maybe make it so damage is done to a chamber if a shot goes through the bounding box of the chamber/crew room? This way you wouldn't have to hit the blocks defining it just the overall bounding box. :)

      Sorry to say but forcing ship size with reactor size in the way it's being done is the problem people are complaining about most of us can build full interiors without being forced to have 100x that in void space inside our ships.       Also why not have some Decorative hull types? Unlike normal hull blocks they'd be lighter and cost less but also their stats would be extremely low a well. This would allow players to make super light ships without having to use normal hull or decorative blocks. :)

      Here's a nice idea, why not make it so Chambers only enhance functionality rather than grant it? Also side note: I got a ship specifically for dropping gates so I'm not completely worried about travel times but something should be done to move some functions to non-chamber related systems.

      Mining is also a chore but we do it anyways, adding Farming under mining doesn't seem all that bad and it can be made use of for fuel and crew mechanics if/when added. Like mining it'd need to be able to be automated somehow by NPC Crew or AI Module pilots but once setup it isn't that hard...

      The other fix would be to either let the AI map out where it can and can't turn due to collisions or let the player do that mapping. That and also make it so the AI won't bother shooting at something out of that field of vision it is given.
