It’s not complicated at all. Just a button feeding into a chain of delay blocks. Each delay block is connected to a light.

That’s what I thought as well. Apart from the general colour scheme it has a front facing cockpit and shares some of the design principals with the current trade frigate. Although I’m not surprised at that.
