      What would be better is a menu option allowing you to select/de-select permissions for multiple blueprints at once. This will likely be more necessary as some server Admins will want to have more than just the default 3 factions in their universes.

      Ah.. no. I wasn't clear on that. I thought you meant the docking features would be mechanically in-compatible between factions. Did you just mean they would be aesthetically different but still broadly work with each other? 'Cause if you did, I can totally get behind that :-)

      Once obtained, simply re-design the dock. I would, however, expect any trade or diplomacy oriented ships (Freighters, VIP shuttles etc.) to have some agreed docking standard. I believe all three factions are supposed to be capable of non-combative interaction since the update?

      I did not know that, I will have to experiment. Thanks :) I just read-up on the stop effect. Simply cancelling out gravity is not what I had in mind. I want a way to make your ship auto-align with the Planet's horizon on approach and allow me to hover just above the surface, like a Speeder...

      Reducing the power of weapons/engines inside an atmosphere is an interesting one. Atmosphere specific vehicles could then require a "Jet Engine" or "Hover" block to manoeuvre properly. Schema has said on multiple occasions that smaller blocks will never happen.
