    Yeah... Ridley Scott was apparently out to get me that day. It was ridiculous and just like in the movie. I even posted about it on my shipyard thread a few years ago. I can't make this stuff up. :ROFLMAO:

    After that, I started building more of my ships with small bays for power armor and carrying a sniper rifle when on foot. ...Just in case.

    EDIT: What happened after I returned to base...

    Random chance leaking into the gameplay, replicating the plot of iconic sci-fi movies we all love, and ending up being better fun than the actual intended gameplay... That's so nice :ROFLMAO:

    Good thinking! I mean, with so many bugs, they must be coming from somewhere... There must be a queen; and you better have a power armor for the time you encounter a station where some mad scientist hides a full-grown queen (as opposed to the more lackluster specimens and references in my Mysterious Science Station).
    Did I go as far to actually hide something into that breached vent duct?

    Good thinking! I mean, with so many bugs, they must be coming from somewhere...     Agreed. Though random, this is the kind of PVE content that Schine needs to invest heavily in. ...or we can make them all look bad by doing it ourselves. I'm on board either way. Also, +1000 for the return of Ellen Ripley and I now want a plushie chest burster.

    Also also, when I took a look at your station, I started to break out into a brief panic when I couldn't immediately locate the like button. Dude, that was a really long 5 seconds.

    Whew... :whistle: catastrophe averted.

    Hopefully the forthcoming "community contracts" thing they mentioned in relation to the universe update will allow players to seriously contribute further content to enrich PvE gameplay. I actually built that science station with the goal to have something that others could add to the abandoned stations set of customized servers.

    Thank you, I'm very glad to hear that you liked it so much. This kind of positive feedback always fuels my ambition to build more and better :)

    I wonder what would happen if I set a spider spawner on a tg station. Would they destroy their own station?
