      Drone Wars Competition

Just got free time to log in. Wow 30 minute match with the Manth's... damn. I feel like I should apologize or something haha. Congrats to the winners. Contrary to match commentary, I did have one drone rigged up as AMS. However, the center mount turret, while cool, was such an exposed...

      Drone Wars Competition

So question: who configures the AI blocks once loaded in and can we request a specific combo?

      Drone Wars Competition

Here is my entry. Drone War Contest Entry: Manthanonian Banach-class Defense Drone The full drone lodge is available at the link. The individual drone is available here Unfortunately, I got a little ambitious, so the drone lodge is not quite finished. It's intended to work as a docking...

      Manthanonian Banach-class Defense Drone 2016-03-11

Manthanonian drones are an ancient tradition. Breeding programs has been an intricate part of Manthanonian culture, engaged for profession as well as hobby. Manthanonian cities are full of robotic life forms and Manthanonian military adopted AI weapons systems many recursive cycles ago...

      Manthanonian Alpha-model Drone Lodge 2016-03-11

Manthanonian design mobile drone lodge which acts as logistics and staging outpost for Manthanonian drone fighters. The design is intended to be a mobile module, constructed in Manthanonian space and then sent on long missions, either attached to a capital ship, acting as a moveable station...

      ship classification

You are correct they are tied. They are not however the same. If you restrict mass then volume will fluctuate 2-3X between similar mass ships. If you restrict volume then mass will probably approach the maximum Which is why this exercise is more or less doomed to fail. You'd have to agree...

      ship classification

It seems obvious that if you wanted a non-mass measurement classification, it would need to be based on volume.

      Wireless connection issue

To elaborate on what Jaaskinal wrote, when you wireless connect between entities (distinct cores/stations) then that line doesn't appear. If you're building an elevator, just put the wireless button on the elevator, then wire the logic on the shaft side.

      controlling multiple rails

Here's a hint. Besides wireless blocks (which are essential no workaround), if you place an activation module or button against the rotation block, it will toggle whenever those arms operate. And, if you've adjusted the rotation period (like it appears you have) then they only toggle every time...

      Drone Wars Competition

      1) I'm in thanks for hosting a competition. 2) could you update the rules to limit the rack obviously we aren't supposed to do some things like build a 5,000/sec beam on the rack to nuke drones. I'd say no outward facing weapons or support tools (although AI can't use the later anyway).

      Arna Shipyard Station (WIP)

Was having a bit of trouble with the rails. I can understand why the recording process might mess with the speed, but it's odd that it seemed to also impact the rails completing their cycle. That doesn't happen the rest of the time. These are going to hold escape pods which partially dock in...

      Arna Shipyard Station (WIP)

I've been working on this shipyard on and off for a while now. This was the 5th object I started constructing in SM, so there's still some style issues going on, where I go off on one building technique for a while, then suddenly try something new. There are definitely some elements here...
