    I just tried out the newest dev build

    AMD PhenomII X4 955 (4Cores), 8GB Ram, GTX660, win7 64bit

    On my system ive fould 2 bugs instantely.
    those bugs only appear with the new universe system on a fresh install

    1. Grafics Bug
    could maybe a shadow bug, but ive got shadows turned off
    looks like this

    It flickers in the lighter parts in random colours
    its a brand new created system and ive build nothing but a small 10block ship


    2. Dedicated Server Login Bug
    When i start a dedicated server and connect to it evrything is just fine.
    but when i disconnect from it it seems to not save my location or something.


    After a reconnect on the same server it shows me this


    the Universe background is gone, and ive got no location shown in the top middle.
    no entitys were found in the Navigation and there should be my ship and a planet.
    when i drop a core and want to move it tells me zero speed.
    I have to restart the server to get back in the right location.

    Hope anyone can help with those bugs

    Hello BiGEdge,

    thank you for your detailed report.

    Your first issue about flickering looks like problems with occlusion culling.
    Please try turning it off and compare, if it still persists, please try disabling other options an check for a difference.


    The second issue about missing background looks a lot like a thing we had on our testserver,
    unfortunately it affected only one player and most noticeable side effect was random death in regular intervals,
    however the next dev-build + universe reset fixed that. (http://bugs.star-made.org/issues/1208)
