Odium is at this point just Vaygr and CR

The Athanatos Concord is DFN Lazarus and the now inactive Void Templar

So a two on two basically.

Biggest unallied faction is Starfleet AKA the wild card.

You also have the Tartaran Empire which is also neutral given that they hate CR and DFN.

Seems like a pretty balanced system right now.

Only thing that will change this system is VT coming back or another NGE incident (New faction comes out of no where that is pretty powerful )

so a 2v2(v)2 or 2v2(v)1v1 (if starfleet and TE engage in war while retaining their neutrality)
And regarding balance, it isn't as balanced as it seems(which is good IMO)

Laz performed very poorly in the recent wargames and ive seen the stuff that DFN craps out.
Its hardly balanced at all.

Don't forget the vaygr had 3 to 9 times more members on at each point :P It's no wonder we did poorly. We had worse ships and less members.

Hey, they wanted to take part so bad they did even knowing their tech is obsolete - and didn't beg for a delay to update it. What's bravery, if not that?
Also, if a new faction emerges and the grounds change, so what? Diversity is very important.

A week is not much it take about 4 hours to refit a ship we have a huge backlog on updating ships including a heldtech. We all have work and school too I only have four days that I'm not back logged with band scouts homework and family. That really only gives me and others so much time to even get on SM. Any ways what's do is done and we have a new fighter now!

I my opinion starfleet has always been organized and possessed decent ships, they are much more capable than the concord. This doesn't make them a wild card.

Odium is only us for a reason; others didn't make the cut. Laz didn't back in the day, TE didn't. CR did. A capable alliance is not a list of groups on a piece of paper, but an effective fighting force. One that the Concord has always lacked.

The concord is meant just to be a grouping of factions. Not the UN security force of the future.

Starfleet is a major power if they so decide. Luckily, they are kinda like the organization they got their name from: they don't go to war without a really solid reason. Do not be mistaken though, as they have a home server, they have a good active and organized crew, and they have good ships.
