What are the three cylindrical objects poking out of the side, on the upper half of the ship?

I like the look of the texture in the armor plating.

Some of my best ideas come from trying to salvage an oversight lol.

Looking good man! Can't wait to check it out in-game!

Realized the ship had less power than needed, was a little bit of a hassle to correct that.
Yeah, that's the downside of having your shell done before all the systems are in. It's not a matter of simply extending a line of power any more.

In the background, is that a previous iteration of the same ship?

I like how you were able to achieve so organic shapes (well, by StarMade standards) with this experimental slab-work. Very nice!

Yes, that is the previously shown ship with a different turret (and reactor) setup. What i also like about the slabs are the light patterns they produce while moving, quite tedious to build though^^

I never was a big fan of the current power system (or at the very least its implementation), but the short time it took to get an announced rework did surprise me.

As mentioned before i thought the Fenris system design would be a useful and maybe even effective standard for refits and new ships:

To be honest, the cleanliness of those cross sections did surprise me

Tried using empty space without filling it fully, trying to sink deeper into the RP style and to embrace some armor schemes seen in old warships (well, world of warships to be honest) with an armored citadel/core holding the vital systems which also would make it easier to modify,

Looking good - same approach I take to my RP-oriented ships.
