So, this probably won't last long, but if you want to have some hilarious fun in Dev build 201.043:

-Admin warp to an asteroid field.
-Build a tiny, fighter reactor with lots and lots of engines.
-Add a big (5K modules base) Cannon-missile particle disruptor weapon to your tiny ship - power is not an issue
-Now start shooting at the asteroids and watch them fly away, spinning wildly. Up the power and watch them blasted back at speeds that appear to be several times the server max speed.
-Mass spawn some pirates and vanquish effortlessly them with your midget dreadnought.
-Have a laugh while it lasts!

Caution: very large disruptor blasts cause so much acid that it takes a while to apply and firing into the same area before the acid has worn off risks crashing your client.
[doublepost=1527838319,1527837249][/doublepost]And besides needing their power draw turned back on - Does anyone else think that the recharge time on disruptors is way too short for the amount of damage (and Push) they inflict?

Space Quiddich sounds pretty close to what I was doing. Or Space Billiards.

I am thinking of a new sport on the MP servers, a sort of space ping-pong between titans using small fighters as balls.

Those small crappy starter anti-isanth fighters that some people so annoyingly insist they should be killing titans in. And the game is unbalanced if their half-hour 1M credits ship can not wreck the 5 billion credits worth of ship others built and fit in months.

If they keep the intense Push effect, capital disruptor turrets could become an effective tactic for keeping other ships at standoff range, preventing bombers from closing and such.
