Damn, that is some good detail work, looks amazing. Feels pretty Halo to me, BUT, most of the hangars shown in lore are crazy multi-leveled affairs, and you definitely need some color.
Yep, it has levels to it but is a tad hard to show here and I can tell that color is needed for sure; this was the first pass over it.

    Edit:
The hangar section is also something that doesn't have much reference work for a frigate. Books excluded because literature manafests poorly in the tangible works where a version has already been established (the games). In something like the infinity or the cruisers, more than two or three levels are easily achievable because you have astronomical amounts of space inside those ships around where the hangars are located. The hangars on the (Paris class) frigate weren't even meant to launch Pelicans due to size. The Charon class launched them from the central superstructure of the ship which was more for ground deployments/support.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm just going off of all the evidence present in the ship I'm working on combined with reading things online and pictures as well.

Some hazard stripes would fit, I think.
I've put some work in to it after this post went up, theyre already in ;)

The hangar's he's got now are in fact perfect. They are the most logical hangars to have, capable of holding and receiving/launching anything they need to. This ship does not need or have space for multiple-level hangars, though it does look to small to service even a single squadron of Longswords/Shortswords/Broadswords/Assortedotherswordsthattheyprobablyusedforshipnames you get the idea. They'd have to have the ability to launch Pelicans from those bays as well---the ship does carry a small contingent of ground troops and Marines, if I remember correctly. Also, a shuttle of some kind is a necessity when you can't land. And Bumblebees don't work so well as shuttles. Most likely, two or four Pelicans and the remaining spots filled with fighters or other vessels.

Yeah, I've never really seen things in perspective before, because nobody's ever built such a great 1:1 frigate before. Now that I'm looking at it and comparing dimensions, there's no way a Shortsword would even fit in those hangars, let alone a Longsword.

That's not your fault, of course, that's just the lore. Your's appear to be approximately 10x20 from what I can see and seem pretty accurate in terms of scaling. That means, as you said, that not even a pelican would fit inside, as they are 23wx10.5hx30l.

You should work on a Saber, which will barely fit at 19x25, and a Wombat, which are the only lore-friendly craft you could fit comfortably, at 8.5x12.

As for the hangars actual appearance in game, there plenty of footage, like Pelicans launching from the lower hangar in The Ark cut-scene and the ending of Halo 3, but it's confusing as hell because of how 343 retconned the Dawn into a Strident class to make things easier on themselves in Halo 4. Unfortunately, none of those cut-scenes show particularly good detail, so my bad.

(It still might make your side hangars look dope as hell if you turned those windowed areas that look out into the hangars into catwalks for at least a portion of their length. Or perhaps added a small rised repair/maintenance area a few blocks above the hangar floors in those same areas.

I don't mean to over critique or backseat-build, but it seems like you really care about making this thing accurate to the last detail, and I want for nothing but your unparalleled success. Plus, I'd really love to see how you tackle the Saber and Wombat, as both their shapes do not lend well to Starmade.

I actually had never heard of or seen the wombat before so that would be an exciting challenge to complete and have in the hangar. Someone has made a Saber previously which I thought was pretty good from what I could tell. I'm going to get their permission to modify it and then most likely use that inside there as well.

Where the windows are over looking the hangar actually is a walkway back behind but I see what you mean with an actual catwalk on the outside as well. I think it's a good idea to add into the hangar and would lend for some more depth for the back wall of it. I do also plan to add a lift for access to the lower auxiliary bay door on the bottom of the arms so that will add some more flavor to the hangars as well.

I'm still working on adding some color to it, but I might need to ask someone for help. All the color that I'm currently trying to add doesn't seem to mesh well with the look of the ship (either too much or doesn't blend).

Pelicans simply don't fit given their dimensions. I've made one already which was actually my inspiration for building the frigate in the first place - was sad to find out that they wouldn't even fit inside (they fit but cannot launch). A shuttle makes the most logical sense to use instead of a pelican, but I'd need to do some research for one that will fit and I'm willing to use (crazy shapes not conducive to SM as an example of one i'm not willing to use.)

I did try forcing a pelican to fit by trimming dimensions off the wings but it doesn't matter how you cut it, she'll end up looking... handicap. best way I can dress that up.

Honestly so far as Pelicans are concerned, I'm still really unsure as to where I can actually have them launch from right now. Out of the ventral superstructure would be the best logical option but that would mean they would launch vertically down and outward; and would make recall incredibly difficult. I'll keep looking for options as I get further along in the build of the interior.

Something is meant to be in those hangars---something essential. Pelicans or Longswords seemed most logical, as they are seen most in Halo (Most common in the UNSC, most likely) or at least are available for older ships (PoA used Longswords). Wonder if there's any information anywhere that mentions what went in those bays....

Paris classes are weird. We've only seen them in Reach, and they aren't really meant to carry troops, so they don't need Pelicans, and instead use SKT-113s (which there are no pictures of.)

You could just redesign your frigate as a Charon. That would make things easier.

At this point it would feel weird to just call it a Charon. and I don't like the 'pot belly' look the Charon has lol

I'll figure something out for it. Wont be conventional that's for sure but it'll work.

SKT-13's, actually. There's a forward hangar bay between the tines, holding a "small complement" of Longswords. The side hangars aren't mentioned on the wiki page I looked at.
Does anybody own Reach? If so, go to the Sabre mission(s) and take a look around, maybe get some screenshots. You should be able to get close to the Savannah as you disable the Covenant cruiser. Hopefully the Savannah will be close enough to look at.....Anyway, SKT-13 shuttles look like larger Bumblebees, easy enough to make, and the Longsword is obviously easy to find images of. I could even build a Longsword or SKT-13 (Or both) for you to use. Or I might do that anyway xD. I already have my own shuttle that looks similar to what an SKT-13 undoubtedly looks like.

You can just watch the Savannah up close instead of docking at Anchor-9 indefinitely.

OK. My Xbox disk for Reach cracked, so I haven't played the game for a long time.

The Longsword is 75m wide. there is no place on the ship that will dock something like that.

Edit: Internally at least. I think you could work up some external dock but I don't plan to

Seventy-five meters???? Well, so it is. Are you certain that won't fit anywhere? Because the Halo Nation wiki claims that the Paris carries several in a hangar between the tines. Lemme take a look...Who knows, maybe their information is incorrect.

Yeah, I can't think of any space in the ship that would fit the Longsword. 75x~65ish? going off memory for the length. hight is like 12 but that is not the issue

    Yes, 75 by 64ish. There's a decimal on the 64, but I don't really care.

Reach uses a version that is only 30 meters long, and probably close to 37.5 meters wide, instead of 75...otherwise it would look strangely proportioned. However, the shortened length might also be artistic license.

Ah okay. Yeah with those dimensions I could see a more feasible hangar for one but still, I'd make a bay for Pelicans before I did a longsword

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that that article is fairly wrong, because there's no physical way that the ship could carry Longswords...especially as it is stated to have given up almost all hangar capacity in favor of a lengthened MAC and more weapons of various types while maintaining extremely high maneuverability.

Yeah, I wasn't going on the Paris Class article for that very reason. Shortswords are also enormous. And while according to the wiki there is a hangar in the middle near the prongs, I've never heard of one being there.

We need one of those cutaway books.
