my "abomination" is likely just as abominable. And almost in a "balanced" state, just now trying to cut down on blocks of 1 type to add blocks of another in vital areas...

Not su much wasted hull this year unlike my crappy Firebee thing lol.

Mine looks far better than the ones I used previously. The Deimos needed to be redecorated and the interior fixed after I managed to mangle it during the refit, and the Wendigos suffered from a bad case of Pre-Decorative Block Veteran Syndrome

I was planning on bringing an upgraded variant of my last year entry since it had a pretty nasty bug to it i got fixed, but since the power update made the weapon pointless and the thrust nerf completely killed it's mobility i've had to drag it out behind the shed and put it down hundreds of hours down the drain because schine have no fucking clue what they're doing...

Wasnt it Hilariously more glass than cannon though? Most weapons and rockets would pretty quickly eviscerate its firing mechanism before it could get its damage off in its Minigun

That's the problem with trying to armor tank with a complicated ship.

As far as I remember it wasnt even an armour tank since it was made of basic hull, Motherboards, and dolom/carved dolom to lighten it, lol

It didn't need to tank long since gatling would disable about anything in a few seconds, and it wasn't the squishiest ship in the tournament either 1.3 mil shield and the gatling very rarely broke from hull damage to the logic controlling it, it was usually disabled by the barrel taking damage and no longer able to support itself with power. Its perfectly capable of taking a bit of hull damage and still fighting (most of the time, sometimes you get unlucky) but it could only support 2 barrels going into outtage before the whole ship would outtage while firing. New version added a bunch of ways to work around that by partially disabling the weapons.

The problem with killing it is hitting it; only lock-ons are reliably able to hit it at range, swarmers are too slow to catch it and dumbfire missiles will never hit. As for guns; if you're using guns im using guns and i don't think there's a gun setup that can rival the gatling if we're both shooting at each other

I just sent my own submission!

Good old Chronos was a tired design. It's now been rebuilt from a new shell that allowed for much better systems. Weapons were scaled up to use all the excess power and optimized so they're much more effective especially at long range. The refit also fixed the many weaknesses induced by my old design. It still has a french shower, as you could have guessed =)

I advice bringing extensive fire power in order to break its shield open if you don't want this bastard undefeated again =P

Its interior is still minimal but now much more detailed thanks to slabs.

I allowed myself to put a rail door '=)

I also already submitted my ship, in the last tournament i got roflstomped because i forgot that my ship was made all out of advanced armor, didnt know any good weapon combinations and didnt know how to generate alot of power but now that all of those problems are fixed, i have made my ship 10x better and since i got better at building, the ship looks 10x better :D i dont want to spoil anything so this is all you get.
