I play on a multiplayer server, and every time I fight pirates I get the "Warning! You are running low on memory! " message, then the game begins to freeze and stutter. Usually there are about ten pirates, many of them firing missles, so, sure, there is a lot going on, but my graphic settings are pretty minimal and I think my comp ought to be able to handle this.
The message and stuttering persist, even after I have left the area with the pirates. Restarting the game is the only way I've found to resolve the issue.
I'm running 64bit java. I have 16gigs mem with 8gigs allocated to the game.
