    I have played this game for a year now.had much fun with the freedom of the game.this last patch i must say is pure garbage.I love nothing more in this game than the ability to build stealth ships.It brings me great pleasure.Sadly i found it to be 1 of the most balanced part of this game and yet now it has become the most unbalance pos i have ever seen.after this update my small stealth ship became absolute garbage.worthess and a waste of the time it took to build it.i had been toying with the idea of a modular stealth ship.Yet after the update power supply beams r useless for that anymore.As far as i am concerned they mayaswell just remove the cloaker from the game.as long as they keep these 2 systems like they currently r i have lost all desire to continue playing.I hope others end up feeling this way to because i really enjoyed this game.

    It's alpha and a lot of things are bound to change you should know that when you start playing Alpha games. Many people had to completely refit ships because of certain updates.

    refitting a ship is 1 thing breaking a system that worked and was balanced is completely another.

    broken as in it no longer works.1st off u have a ship with minimal defensive capabilities 2. the 1 good defensive ability now has an 8 sec cd when firing from cloak i count 8 damn seconds.i used a cloaking ship with max power regen and a small amount of shielding in 8 secs 1 pirate just 1 not a fleet not a station was able to colpletely destroy my ship in 8 secs thats fucking broken.

    Don't get uncloaked?

    Do you know what is even more ridiculous? Having dedicated interceptors and radar pod so that the second you Uncloak the enemy, he clicks and recloak with no repercussion. None, ZADA, nil.

    Ahhh, you are implying the nerf is unfair by posting a rage thread.

    8 second outage is a bit high for weapon re-fire IMO, and should be dropped to 3 seconds. However, being uncloaked by a scanner should put you into a 24 second inability to cloak and rejam as a balance.

    no so instead u think it's better to pop a scanner 1 time and have enough time to blow him away b4 he can do anything at all a cd isn't always bad this particular 1 is period

    Only if he does pop the scanner, most people aren't in the habit of running a scan every 30 seconds and there's no way to automate the process for exactly that reason.

    I think there was a 8 second "reload" time added for cloak and jam when they are deactivated.

    In particular, cloaker deactivate when firing, so OP is complaining about it, which is relatively reasonable. However, either he did not intend to, he dragged the topic of power generators using external power being nerfed as well and it turned into a blanket "why can't I cloak a large ship no more" thread.

    PS: mouth is usually not for shouting, it is for eating :D *NOMNOMNOM :p

    they put a huge cd on cloaks and power supply uses way more power consumption

    Didn't power supply already use twice as much power as it supplied?
    Not sure, I think it used to actually have no penalty and they recently added it in. The result I can guess is a pretty ridiculous one.

    Well as of a long time ago they consumed 1920 energy for every 1000 they supplied, I'll have to test my existing designs and see if they're broken.

    Being completely invisible is more than enough. With radar only being able to what, Uncloak a target for a millisecond, it is hardly balanced either.
