I have a problem with docking.

I try to dock a ship to another ship. The docking space is big enough but it does not work no message nothing.

I think I disabled the enforcement of docking size once and but do not remember the command. maybe that is the problem. Can someone tell me how to enable it again?

in the server.cfg file: IGNORE_DOCKING_AREA = false

that was not the problem. I still cant dock my ship. Or is it maybe to big?

Post screenshots of your ship and your dock. =)

Also take into account:
Ships can only be docked in certain orientations.
Create a core and mark the sides, red block right, blue block left, black back, white front, yellow on top ^^
something you can remember, and then dock it to your designated dock.
Now check your ship, it 'has' to fit the dock in that direction.
(Also: Core is always aligned to the docking module,
50 blocks behind the core, and nothing else, requires a dock able to hold a ship with 101 blocks length.)

Every so often, the module Module upright fails somehow, and I end up having to remove said module, place a new one, and reconnect all the enhancers :u Might want to give that a go

well but should in that case not be a message that there is not enough space? I will make a picture tomorrow and see if I make the docking space just enormously large in every direction.

are you close enough to the dock to even trigger the message?

No message and I almost bumped it. I will make a picture this evening.

Ok I tried again and it worked this time. I have no idea what was wrong.

I made sure the docking space was big enough :D
