Major redesign of the legendary Watatsumi-class battlecruiser.
The download includes a "shell" version (which features the same interior, same systemed turrets, plus a bare minimum of easily removable systems that provide thrust and shielding).
CHANGES:
- totally resystemed, rigorously balanced
- removed hangar bay, liberating a vast space for additional systems
- replaced the sphere turrets and their hull sockets with their renewed, volume-efficient versions
- removed the elevator mechanism that could retract the five AMS turrets on the nose (their "garage space" in hull liberated for systems; less overlapping entities; less performance strain)
- removed hull's internal reinforcement lining (freed space; armor isn't that resilient anyway)
- changed main hull material to black basic armor (lighter, faster, stronger in mono-layer)
- chambers enhance shield instead of armor - used to be hard to penetrate, now it's hard to even scratch!
