The Axe is the latest update to the Woodchuck Precision Mining Freighter. It's designed to carry a single Chisel/Woodpecker as well as a small cargo container. The latest version is also equipped with 4 L2 Cc1000 Gatling Turrets.
The Axe features a powerful and precise Sx-9x36 mining laser. This salvage laser cuts a 3x3 hole into anything you aim it at and has built in optics for fine control. Each emitter in the array is tied individually into one of nine fusion batteries. The mining laser also has a built in ionized cutting laser.
