    Surprisingly tough little ship for its size, thanks to the defensive effects. Excellent early pirate hunter (though not much space to store the loot) and serves well as a fleet escort later on. Extra props for keeping it simple. I've been running into a lot of overcomplicated designs lately, nice to see one that focuses more on performance than being as fancy as possible (while still managing to look good)

    I too have noticed this trend of complex designs, though I guess even some Trident ships fall into that :P
    As for the cargo, it was originally intended to have at least twice as much cargo space but size considerations killed that :/

    Focuses on what a small patrol corvette should focus on: speed, agility, believably dynamic (sleek) exterior.

    Beam + missile weapons is also an excellent combination when using this ship as an escort drone or AI ship, since the lock-ons are not threatened by the ship's own cannons.
