Based on the Lillith's frame the Tiamat makes heavy use of foreward mounted canons.
With this ship's high thrust, battle groups of these can easily controll the engagment distance againsed most bigger ships. To capitalise on this, most of the weapon systems are designed to operate at distances between 1800 and 2000. Even more on the production line version.
For some versatility the ship also comes with aktive scanners and can disrupt warpfields on nearby vessels, though neither is even remotely as powerfull as on dedicated support ships.
