    The Theta-4 Outpost is a relatively cheap, easy-to construct station for those who want to settle down in a new system and want to jump-start their economy. The station provides room for customization and moderate comfort, as well as a factory/refinery suite and adequate storage for early game. 8 Calliope hybrid turrets and moderate shielding protect from minor incursions, although docked vessels might not be fully covered and the station's own power supply is only enough to fuel its own facilities.
    For longer deployments, the station's outer ring offers plenty of space to install additional living quarters, and provides recreational areas such as a small park and a night club.

    im only confused about how to get this out to the meteors to mine.

    Generally, the idea is that it's a small station made with cheap materials (aside the inevitably expensive reactor and chambers) so you can spawn one in the system you want to mine dry, claim system through the fac block to get the mining bonus, and use a mining ship to do the actual mining. It was originally meant as "My first half-decent factory station" when starting anew after moving to a diff server/server universe reset, and it usually outlives its usefulness once it processed enough raw resources so you can build a bigger, better defended and equipped station.
    Looks great, but for some reason the turrets don't work even though they're turned on.
