Markus_McCloud here. I've been experimenting with the Cloaker, and I'll come right out and say it:
The Cloaker is a finicky little bastard. I had to adjust and readjust this ship countless times just to make sure it has permanent cloaking.
But after much tinkering, I've finally done it! Introducing the first (and possibly only) stealth ship from McCloudCorp.
It may be about 80% Reactors, but it has permanent stealth, and it can reach top speed while staying cloaked.
The core is on the back. This was mostly an experiment, so core placement was a low priority.
Camera View. It's armed with twin laser cannons, but firing will reveal your location and disrupt the cloaking device. It's more of a Plan B than an actual means of fighting.
Frankly, I'm not expecting thunderous applause for this one (not that I expect that for any of my ships, but I expect even less from this one). I just wanted to experiment with stealth technology. I'm probably not gonna do much, if any, revision to this one.
