Hello there, I am here to present yet another generator, The power supply unit Mk12
You might ask why not just update the original post? Well this is due to Mk12 being so superior and basically not the same as Mk3.
You see, The mk3 was made when bluerain was still a thing
Bluerain being a faction then turned into Dread Syndicate
Dread Syndicate was then shut down and dissolved into blade falcon
Its so old that it has been on GenXnova since January 2015
Thus when it came time to overhaul our fleets we deployed the very latest cutting edge systems in order to run our titans (Namely Watcher, Definity, Vengeance, Clarity, And finally Centurion)
So without further ado here is the change log
>Clock speed reduced from 1000MS to 500MS allowing for faster transfer of power via OR logic block
>Overhaul of effective reactor blocks, Improved power per block
>Power supply beams re-balanced to be in perfect efficiency (Using math code N=Re-gen of generator R=Power supply per block A= Answer
N Divided by 300(R) = A. A Divided by 2 = Ratio for main and support (Support being cannon!)
Using this mathematic formula we where able to make the generator transfer precisely its own re-gen and thus this has almost eliminated power failures due to the mother ship giving its power back to the generator due to the generator itself having a power failure due to over transfer.
Long story short, Changing the ratio of the power supply beams to be any higher then current reduces the effective power you gain.
We are transferring more effective power over a minute with the current setup while using LESS effective power supply beams then Mk3
(I.E MK12 Total power supply block group= 3332 Mk3 total power supply block group= 2882)
That is less then 450 blocks more for a 1 million E/s transfer.
Using this we have been able to create a 1 Million generation per tick generator
If we look at this chart here once again
NOTE: above chart is with ONE group!
We can see that, over 880K you start to stop gaining a bonus HOWEVER we still gain a bonus up until 1 Million which is still worth gaining due to the whole point of generators is to reset the bonus.
The curve drops off around 880K AS new testing has uncovered meaning that its not a far stretch to gain 1 Million and is a worthwhile compromise
Now onto the generator
Before we get onto the meat and bone of the generator here is a few warnings before use you must be aware of
The logic clock can stop randomly if you are relogging alot or reloading a sector to fix simply toggle the generator on and then off and back on again this is due to the OR gate getting stuck due to starmade's logic bugging out.
Secondly upping the block count of the power supply beam or the generator itself would push the affective power per block below just putting standard reactors all over your ship DO NOT DO THIS we are already on the edge of what we can gain from the bonus reset any lower and it becomes a waste of space.
You may remove the power tank blocks and replace them with what you wish however this is in place to prevent the generator power failing due to server autosave or lag in general (Where you can have issues due to the server pausing regen)
Finally if you are going to use this generator please make sure to credit the combined efforts of the blade falcon faction for this design and generator.
