    Power Supply Unit Mk12 PSU Mk12 R1

Really like it. Does what it says on the tin; quick question though are two separate beams supposed to fire out the psu or just one that fires in bursts?

    One in burst.
    Very well done!
An absolutely magnificent generator. I have a ship in which i was able to dock 5 of these inside of my ship completely concealed with only one access door to remove/ install these bad boys like batteries. my ship was already producing around 5m e/sec before hand.

I am now able to nearly double that all while using 1/10th the space it required to achieve the first 5 million e/sec through conventional means.

lag seems to be non existent and i couldn't be happier. Cant wait to see what you come up with next...

But would it be possible to achieve similar results with a shield recharging dock-able entity?.. would be awesome.

Dockable shield generators are an issue to do because when the shield supply beam hits its target the target goes into combat mode due to shield change (combat mode reduces regen of shields by 90%) this also happens to the generator itself so its unwise to use them due to their cost
Thanks for releasing to public. Going to rip out the power system in a ship I am working on in favor of this beast. One question. What are the cannons for exactly?

They speed up the firing of the power supply beams and are a support based system for the power supply beams.

By binding them to power supply beams the beams fire faster which is better for fast energy transfer.

They are a needed part of the system and should not be removed.

Do not attempt to put this generator directly onto your ship instead it should be docked as it is a separate ship
One problem, you covered the core and access to said core with thrusters making it inaccessable in the shipyard. 2x9x20 thrusters top and bottom are plenty if you want to edit it.
I will certainly be using this reactor in my next build. Your docked power reactors are SO much better than what I had cobbled up on my own, it is frankly embarrassing. Worse is other people are using my old reactors. Oh the shame of it...
