Hi, As per monthly vote inside of blade falcon we have decided to release the Power supply unit Mk3

So what is the Power supply unit Mk3?

Well, Its a dockable generator that when turned on via logic supplies you with a set amount of power

Simply by docking this via the rail and turning on the generator you get 750K E/s

Now why 750K E/s? Im glad you asked, This regen is the most efficient possible regen for the "spike" on power reactor module efficiency as seen in this image here:

As you can see the tapper off point for power efficiency is around 800K E/s Any more you lose block efficiency

So what about power supply beams? Well not many people know that power supply beams also have an efficiency curve like power supply modules... The peak for this is 700K

Thus the most efficient possible for blocks is this current system is 750K E/s

    Now onto the generator itself:

Here we see a screenshot of the external structure

Its 70 long 9 wide and 9 high a VERY good dimension to have for length based ships.

The stats if you wish to look them over.

    Logic:

    Red= Input for wireless links
Blue= Output so you can link more then just one generator

Link the red one to a generator or the ship itself if its the first in the line
And link the blue one to the red one if its after the first one in the line

The clock itself is a three block system and activates every 0.25 (You can make that shorter but that is not logical as that kind of clock is over 70 logic blocks)

It works as advertised. This unit has substantially lower mass for the same power output as my own fudge built reactor, and it's logic is vastly easier to implement and string together. Plus it appears to be less prone to bugging out. This is a highly valuable resource.

This docked reactor uses 2542 power reactor blocks in 41 different groups for a 763,149.7 raw energy per second. 300 energy per second per power reactor block is respectable but could be improved further [deleted upon request]. That said, the mass difference isn't that important as power reactors often accounts for less than half of the docked reactor total mass.

The power supply beam is a 1441:1441 cannon slaved power supply beam with the following stats.
    tick rate: 50ms
    cooldown: 2500ms
    duration: 2500ms
    power consumption: 43,230e/hit (864,600e/s)
    power supplied: 34,584e/hit (691,680e/s)

At first glance, the power consumption per second is greater than the docked reactor's energy generation. However, [deleted upon request] the beam doesn't really fire 100% of the time reducing the average power consumption per second.

In practice, this docked reactor supplied roughly 32.3 million energy in one minute (i.e.
roughly 540,000 supplied energy per second) [deleted upon request].

Overall this generator effectively supplies roughly 97 energy per block which is a respectable amount for a reactor of this size (theoretically, most efficients reactors should be around 200 supplied energy per block, while most small box-like reactors range from 50 to 110 supplied energy per block).

If I could rate 4.5 stars I would, as this reactor is still very usable and reactors of this size aren't completely trivial to build. [deleted upon request]
I stamp my seal of approval. Generator uses my checkerboard swivel technology.
Pretty well rounded good working system. Definitely giving it a try-out on plenty of my vessels.
