Madison Class Destroyer

    Madison Class Destroyer mkII

This ship is absolutely awesome given its small mass, and block count. How much can be put in so small ship ?. Its main cannon takes down shields with over 100k recharge rate on target with a decent rate, given the fact it has no turrets, it sufficiently manuverable, just like author described it, to take down a fighter(s) with a strong punch from cannon and missile tubes. Cargo space(s) provide a lot palce for transporting materials, hangar is enough for small fleet of fighters. Ship core is hidden behind decent armor, so even if shields get lowered, should be safe on bridge.
Interior is very functional, medkits are everywhere, not only in medibay.
Entrances are well designed, and secured with decent airlocks. I could enumerate many great aspects of this ship endlessly, its definetly worth joining a fleet. All ships of this author has the same trait - given its mass and block count they are very well feature packed and durable in battle, when compared to others creations.

PS. Faction Module is hidden in well known (to people knowing other creations of this shipyard) place. I wouldnt mind rotating this block a bit ..... :)))) ;)
This is a nice ship, and it definitely sets a high standard for others in its weight class. In particular, its shields are absolutely incredible, and they more than make up for its lack of advanced armor. Its weapons are powerful enough too, and its effective both on its own and as part of a larger group of ships (my friend gave these to the pirates on the new server we're starting out on on, and man did they sting.) The only thing I'd suggest would be adding a couple of small PD turrets - they wouldn't really hurt it or boost the cost by much, but they'd be another layer of defense for that tissue paper armor it has, especially when going up against similar, missile-based strikers.

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you and your friends are getting some use out of these. Earlier prototypes had some AMS turrets, but I scratched them to get the aesthetics up to the quality I wanted. I've been tinkering with adding them in, because yeah, PD is super important. So keep it tuned here for an update sometime this week.
