Classification: M.V. Neptune
Contract History =>The Merchant Vessel Neptune was contracted in 3174 as a small 66 meter long vessel designed for short range transportation.
Intended purpose => The transportation of goods, as well as used for the resupply of other fleet vessels. The Neptune is designed to move quickly and have strong shields that have been reinforced with Ion Flux capacitors to reinforce the structural integrity. This does not mean that the Neptune class vessels are defenseless. Each M.V. Neptune is equipped with a long range multi-focal laser, as well as a short range Flack cannon. In addition the vessel is equipped with Overdrive plasma injectors, as well as an added directional push actuators for added course change maneuverability.
The Vessel is Designed for an intended crew of 1 -6 members, and comes equipped with a kitchen, rec-room, med-bay, cargo bay, and head. All Neptune vessels are equipped with atmospheric landing gear and ramps, as well as a dorsal airlock designed to mesh with the yet to be released Kronos class research vessel.
