The LSPC Raptor class interceptor is among the fastest ships within the LSPC fleet. Purpose built to defend local space from enemy incursions and to out run any of its competitors the raptor is well suited to destroying enemy fighter and bomber formations before they have a chance to know what hit them. The raptor was designed for carrier capacity in mind and was made modular to be carried in small spaces; as such it is best utilized for rapid local area response or for raiding and ambushing enemy targets in conjunction with a carrier fleet. The raptor can reach speeds in excess of 315m/s and is equipped with a quad firing rapid fire cannon system. Well shielded and maneuverable the raptor has high survivability making it a fine fighter craft to have in any fleet.
