The Hippogryph-class Light Cruiser is a 35K mass combat ship designed to fill the general purpose role in the Ultima Fleet. Fitted with two CBExp forward guns, one CIon forward gun, 60 MB missile tubes, and 32 AMS turrets, the Hippogryph is able to offer fire support to allied ships in a variety of situations. It also features fully efficient Piercing and Punch-Through effect systems, granting it increased longevity in battle. It also features improved computer aid systems, reducing the number of crew needed to function. Being general purpose, the Hippogryph is a perfect ship to flesh out an otherwise thin fleet.
