My entry for the February Ship of the Month challenge. The Halberd!
My version is a patrol corvette. A modestly fast jump drive to cruise around a system with, two hard hitting missile launchers to take the fight out of pirates, pirate stations and smugglers, though her cannon is probably best used for that "shot across the bow". It's slow, but packs a mean punch for it's size.
Yes, it's armor plates bolted to the hull. She's got six anti-missile turrets as well, and there's a very small shuttle/cargo bay, with a small scout vessel inside. The scout is useful for search missions, or getting into small spaces the corvette cannot.

I do intend on refitting the ship, however. It was a learning experience, and she's the largest ship I've constructed so far.
I'm glad that the armor plating gives the ship character. I had thought of rebuilding her with the advanced armor properly cemented to the side of the ship. Not sure if I want to do that or not.
Thank you for your review. :)
