GSI Long Haul Carrier 02
A complete revision and rebuild of the LHC.
The Carrier.
12 Mining Drones.
2 Cargo Ships.
4 Journey explorer & repair ships.
1 Heavy Miner.
I was going to list all it's assets and screenshot details but I don't know where to start... I'll just say there's a lot to explore and leave it at that.
The LHC-02 is an advanced ship and knowledge of fleet functions is required to utilize the Carrier correctly. When issuing recall, always make sure the carrier is positioned correctly so fleet ships have line of sight back to their pickup points. It is best to be in the Carrier and holding the ships position when issuing recall so any returning ships don't knock the Carrier around. If you find the drones getting backed up or colliding, try issuing the recall order from further away so each drone takes more time to get back to the Carrier.
The Heavy Miner is meant to be piloted, don't launch the Heavy Miner with the drones unless you're in the pilot seat. The Heavy Miner has a little trouble re-docking automatically, it does eventually get there but may knock the carrier in the process. Recalling the Heavy Miner and drones at the same time is NOT recommended.
Please let me know if there's any faults or issues.
Enjoy!
PS, I left a very simple jump ship docked behind the cowling on the top of the ship, I use it if the fleet mining order fails, jump away from the mining fleet for 20 seconds and jump back, the mining order will work again. The jump ship is not really 'part' of the fleet...
